Wollongong Wolves Sign Experienced Midfielder Sim Woon Sub
The Wollongong Wolves Football Club are thrilled to announce the signing of Sim Woon Sub for the upcoming 2025 season. Sim, a dynamic midfielder joining us from the Illawarra Premier League (IPL), is set to bring both skill and experience to the squad.
Sim boasts a wealth of professional experience, having played extensively across various leagues in Asia, including stints in Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
First-grade coach Warren Grieves expressed his excitement about Sim’s arrival, saying:
“Sim will provide a wealth of experience and knowledge in the heart of our midfield. From the first time I sat down with him, it was clear he is not only focused on developing himself but also on elevating those around him. His work ethic and lead-by-example mindset will be a tremendous asset to the team.”
Sim shared his enthusiasm about joining the Wolves, stating:
