The Wollongong Wolves Football Club is excited to announce the re-signing of young goalkeeper Oliver Yates for the 2025 season.
Coach Warren Grieve shared his thoughts on Oliver’s potential, stating:
“Although still young, Oli has shown great maturity. He has excellent shot-stopping ability and a very good range with his passing. He will be a key player for us this season, both on and off the field, and I’m looking forward to working with him.”
Oliver is eager to build on a strong season and is excited for the challenges ahead, saying:
“I’m super excited to be staying at this club for another season. I learned a lot last year and now feel ready to take my chance to represent Wollongong and the Illawarra in both the NPL and the National Second Tier. Bring on 2025!”
