The Wollongong Wolves Football Club are thrilled to announce the re-signing of Alex Masciovecchio for the 2025 season.
Coach Warren Grieve praised Alex’s versatility and skill, stating, “With his ability to play across the front line, Alex provides us with great strength. He’s athletic and can protect the ball in tight areas. He’s had an excellent start to pre-season, and it’s been fantastic to work with him. His drive and desire to continue developing are a credit to his attitude and commitment.”
Alex shared his excitement about rejoining the Wolves, saying, “I’m happy to have been given the opportunity to play for this club again. As a Wollongong boy and a junior here, representing the club and the area means a lot to me. I’m very excited about working with our new coach and getting the ball moving.”
He also spoke about the upcoming National Second Tier (NST) competition, adding, “With the NST set to launch next year and the Wolves being one of the inaugural clubs, there’s no better place to be. The NPL season comes first though, so our focus will be on getting back to finals football where we belong!”
Please join us in welcoming Alex back to the Wolves for what promises to be a thrilling 2025 season!
