The Wollongong Wolves Football Club are thrilled to announce the re-signing of local young talent, Damon Gray. Damon has been with the Wolves since the beginning of the SAP program in 2016, progressing through the club’s junior pathway all the way to the first-grade side.
Having started his Wolves journey in the under 11’s, Damon has shown dedication, skill, and a strong sense of commitment to the club. The Wolves are excited to watch the energy and passion he will bring to the field in the 2025 season as he continues to build on his impressive career.
Most eager to see Damon in action is first-grade coach Warren Grieve, who shared his thoughts on Damon’s growth within the club: “Damo is a great example of the commitment of the club when it comes to youth development. He has moved through the ranks and proved himself both on and off the field. I’m very much looking forward to working with him this season and seeing him continue to develop.”
Reflecting on his re-signing, Damon shared his own enthusiasm for the season ahead, saying, “I am very excited to re-sign for the upcoming season and I look forward to representing not only this club, but the region as a whole. More importantly, I am eager to show this great club what I can bring to the table.”
The Wollongong Wolves look forward to an exciting season with Damon Gray on board in 2025 and can’t wait to see the impact he’ll make on the field.
