The Wollongong Wolves Football Club are thrilled to announce the re-signing of defender Darcy Madden for the 2025 season.
A tough and reliable player, Darcy has been a cornerstone of the Wolves’ defense throughout his career. His ability and dedication have been integral to the team’s success, and the club is eager to see him continue his outstanding form in the upcoming season.
First-grade coach Warren Grieve expressed his enthusiasm for Darcy’s re-signing, saying:
“Darcy’s experience and knowledge will be invaluable as we head into the competition this year. Sitting down with him to discuss his personal goals was fantastic—they align perfectly with the ambitions we have as a team.”
Among those goals is Darcy’s aspiration to become the most capped player in Wollongong Wolves history—a testament to his love and loyalty to the club.
Darcy shared his excitement for the season ahead, saying:
“It’s an exciting time for the club, and I’m as eager as ever to be back for another season. I’m confident that the changes we’ve made during the off-season will bring us great success and propel us into the National Second Division with the wind at our backs!”
